Middlesbrough (0) 0 - 2 (0) Arsenal
Riverside Stadium, Saturday 19th April 2003
FA Barclaycard Premiership
A good professional performance with an under-strength side. Both Bergkamp and Keown were relegated to the bench. In Martin's case let's hope it was just to give Cygan a game what with Sol's ban coming up. Wiltord played alongside Henry, with Parlour taking Paddy's place in midfield.
Wiltord got the first a few minutes after halftime with a superb finish after being set up by Henry. Henry himself scored the second on the hour: a fine free-kick from the edge of the box.
The bad news is that Ashley Cole was taken off injured towards the end.
Man Utd also won by 2 goals today, but scored 3. So we're still3 points behind with a game in hand, and one goal ahead on goal difference.
