The big blow in the run up to the Sunday visit to the Valley (kick-off 2pm, Sky pay-per-view) is the news that Patrick Vieira's ineffectual substitute appearance in Kiev on Tuesday was doubly
unfortunate. He will be out fo at least 2 weeks with a thigh problem. Keown is out for another week at least with his calf, but apparently Freddie has not reacted badly to his comeback in Kiev following an ankle injury, and is thought to be fully fit again.
Charlton's potential injury list includes Luke Young (ankle), Gary Rowett (knee), Richard Rufus (knee), Kevin Lisbie (knee), Shaun Bartlett (ankle) and Carlton Cole (hip). The last 2 are definitely out, the rest are doubtful.
Charlton are on a bit of a roll. Lisbie's winning hattrick against Liverpool a couple of weeks ago has been followed by away wins over Pompey and Blackburn. Most of the injuries are not new, Alan Curbishley could field the same side that beat Rovers.
