Spurs preview: Tel & Fred still out, Sol still waiting by Rupe

Thierry Henry misses the game against Tottenham tonight, because of his groin injury, and looks certain to be missing next weekend too when Arsenal travel to West Brom on Bank Holiday Monday. Freddie Ljungberg will also be missing with a hip injury. Flamini is still out with a thigh problem and it's been confirmed that Gael Clichy's foot injury means he won't be playing again this season.

Sol Campbell will probably be on the bench again after another solid performance from Toure and Senderos. Given the form of the young Swiss man, it's very hard to say whether he or Toure will end up being the one to be dropped. Given the clean sheets they've been keeping, it's hard to say whether anything but an injury to one of them will allow Sol back in.

No changes are expected in midfield, with Vieira and Gilberto keeping want-away Edu on the bench and Reyes staying on the left since Reyes will be needed up front. It's possible that he'll be partnered by van Persie, to give Bergkamp a rest.

Tottenham have strikers Mido and Kanoute available despite slight knocks, and the latter might just get the starting place alongside Defoe and ahead of Robbie Keane.

Arsenal need to win to prevent Chelsea claiming the Premiership crown tonight, but this game is all about Europe. Arsenal cannot finish lower than third now, but second place and a ticket straight into the group stage of the Champs League would be a huge bonus, never mind the additional cash for second place, and the desire to get one over on Man Utd. United's come-back win against Newcastle yesterday means that they're just a point behind, and although they've still got Chelsea to play, Chelsea are sure to have the title wrapped up by then and the Champs League may be on their minds too. Tottenham also have Europe to play for: because Arsenal and Man Utd are contesting the FA Cup final, 7th place in the league will get a UEFA cup spot, and Tottenham are just one point away from that (see table).
