According to the Daily Star, former Clash frontman
Joe Strummer is to record a tribute to another
legend: our own rock Tony Adams.
Strummer, a dedicated Gooner, is like most of the country
amazed that big Tone has been passed over as England skipper
in favour of Shearer. The song protests about this, and
features some "pretty mean piano" by Adams himself.
The song will be on the next album from Strummer's current
band the Mescalleros.
