Pat Rice - legendary Arsenal defender, Northern Ireland international and now assistant manager at Highbury - has been burgled, and among the valuables taken were 4 FA Cup final medals.
Cruelly, the only medal he's left with is his loser's medal from the 1972 FA Cup final, against Leeds. '(The thief) would have a job selling them because they've all got my name on,' Pat said. 'All I can do is appeal to the thief's better nature and hope he'll return the four he's taken.'
Hear hear. |
