A Cambridge lorry driver who won the lottery at the weekend has done what every reader of this page would probably do - phoned Highbury to ask about buying an executive box!
Derek Curtis, who rather weakens his case by saying he hasn't seen them play in the flesh for about 10 years, gave up his job on Monday, bought a Jaguar, and is looking for a big new house.
He said he's been doing the lottery since it began, always doing the same numbers. But when he got to the shop on Saturday, he'd forgotten his regular numbers - so he chose at random... and ended up £1.6m richer. Good on ya, Gooner. |
