Sky News reports that Davor Suker has defended his decision to buy shares in Man Utd.
The Croatian striker has revealed he bought £20,000 worth of Manchester United shares in October, two months after his arrival at Highbury from Real Madrid. But according to the FA, he's OK unless he goes over the 10% threshold.
Suker, who also owns shares in Italian side Lazio, says he bought the Man Utd shares purely as an investment. 'If Arsenal were in the same market,' he told newspapers on Tuesday, 'I would put money in them - but they aren't.' |
