Arsenal have taken out a GBP 5 million worth of sickness cover on Arsène Wenger in the aftermath of Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier's health scare. The Gunners were so shocked by Houllier's sudden heart problem they have reacted to ensure any serious setback with Wenger is fully covered, the Mirror reports. Arsenal pay premiums of GBP 4,000-a-month, and the insurance cover will kick in immediately if Wenger was to suffer from any major illnesses, including heart disease. The Arsenal manager, currently negotiating a new four-year contract, is determined to carry on managing at the highest level despite Houllier's heart scare.
