In an article on the official club website,
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Robert Pires will definitely be involved in tomorrow's Champs League game at home to Auxerre.
Le Boss also revealed that Bergkamp is still not available
because of his achilles injury, and Francis Jeffers is also out with a stomach bug.
So we expect Kanu to play alongside Henry up front. After Wiltord was rested on Saturday, we'd normally expect him to play. But with Vieira and Gilberto automatic choices these days, that only leaves one place for Freddie Ljungberg or Pires (never mind Kolo Toure).
Pires will probably start on the bench. But you never know with Wenger (it's not so long since Freddie came straight back into the starting line-up). Perhaps Wiltord will play up front instead. He may have to if Henry doesn't recover from a minor knock picked up against Everton (according to TeamTalk, who also suggest that Vieira and Campbell are not 100% for tomorrow).
Keown, Parlour, and Gio are all still injured.
See JFD's report on Auxerre's preparations. In addition, Reuters say that midfielder Teemu Tainio and striker Olivier Kapo are actually back from injury.
