Not good news for the player, or for "neutrals" (seen one lately?), but Valencia's Pablo Aimar is out for the best part of a month with a thigh strain.
Given the overall strength of Valencia this is only a moderate setback -- but still, he's their best player and one less headache for Paddy & Gilberto in the upcoming group match at Highbury on Dec 10th.
In his native Argentina he is considered better than Veron. So that's consistent with English opinion then.
